Spicy Pasta Salad

Ingredients

1 pound penne pasta

Living Simple Pizza & Pasta spice blend

1 can black beans, rinsed and drained

2 Green Onions Chopped

1 can black olives, chopped

water and sliced

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

1/4 cup cubed pepperoni, Ham

Italian Dressing

Directions

Step 1

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente, rinse under cold water and drain.
Step 2

Cut up pepperoni and Ham into small cups
Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the pasta, beans, green onions, olives, sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese, pepperoni, ham, Living Simple Pizza and Pasta Spicy spice blend. Add enough salad dressing to coat; toss and chill before serving.

Sweet & spicy pumpkin turkey pasta

Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic

1 pound lean ground turkey

1 1/4 cups chicken broth

1 cup pumpkin puree

1/3 cup milk

Living Simple Pizza & Pasta Spicy

2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

2 table spoons white sugar

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

8 ounce rotini pasta

1 tablespoon Living Simple smoked salt

Directions

Step 1

Spray a deep skillet with cooking spray. Add onions and cook over medium heat until translucent, about 3 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ground turkey and cook until no longer pink, about 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 2

Pour chicken broth into the skillet and bring to a boil. Add pumpkin puree, milk, chipotle peppers, sugar, Living Simple Pizza & Pasta Spicy season blend, pumpkin pie spice, and nutmeg. Reduce to a simmer; cook until pasta ready.
Step 3

Bring a large pot of water to a boil; add 1 tablespoon salt and rotini. Cook the rotini at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain.
Step 4

Stir cooked pasta into the skillet with the turkey-pumpkin sauce until evenly coated.
